I don’t know what the weather has been like by you, but it’s been alternating between hot and humid, to stormy and rainy. I have mixed feelings about this weather. Storms are a lot of fun to watch, but it kind of disrupts my plans. Hot and humid, means no energy, what so ever. Is it just me, or does anyone else just want to take a nap when the humidity is high? Might sound a little silly, but it’s true!

Yep, heat can cause some people to be more aggressive.
The reason I found this so interesting, is because I have a sister, who hates the heat. She can’t stand it. Every time she get’s over heated, her temper explodes.
She is a red head to start with, and is one of those people who is always too hot. (she has a fan on at night during the winter!) So, it really doesn’t seem to take much to set her off. But…still interesting.
Happier when the sun is shining?
It’s a scientific fact! Sunlight cues your body to release more serotonin. This is called the, “happiness hormone”.
Which means, that…
Serotonin levels drop with cloudy weather, leading to depression.
So, on rainy days, when you feel down, and have no motivation, that’s why.
Now, I am not saying that weather is an excuse for our moods and behavior! It’s just an explanation, to help you improve yourself!
To be honest, I have used the weather as en excuse in the past, and I’m sure I will slip up and do it again in the future. I like using rainy days as an excuse to read a book, and do nothing. Same for heat! 😛
