I don’t know about you, but when I am feeling hurt and down, reading God’s word helps me put things into perspective, and remember that God loves me and is in control.
We live in a sinful world, where pain and suffering happen daily. Hearts and spirits get broken or bruised. And like anything else that is broken or hurt, they won’t heal without treatment. Some might over time, or appear to anyway, or you might pop a “band-aid” on, like work, drinking, eating, etc, to make it appear as if nothing happened.
Or, we can turn to God’s word for true healing! Here are 5 verses for those painful times. 🙂
Romans 8:18, For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Isaiah 41: 10, Fear thou not; For I am with thee: be not dismayed: for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
John 14: 27, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not at the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Psalm 55: 22, Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
Psalm 147: 3, He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
I love the last verse! Comment if one of these verses stood out to you. Sign up for my emailing list, to get notified when the next post is up! I’m thinking of doing one with bunny pictures, not because of Easter, but because I have some bunnies and I have to share the cuteness! Have an amazing day!
